We all had a great time at Grandma's on Halloween evening.  Cameron dressed up as a Power Ranger character....and to our surprise, as well as Cameron's...his friend Christopher also dressed as a Power Ranger....the 2 boys had a blast playing after a brief tour of trick-or-treating.

 

Kaden was dressed as a little Devil for his first Halloween.  He had a blast as well....he wasn't frightened at all, but intently took everything in.  Kaden would also break out in laughter everytime big brother came running back to us at the street.

 

Dad of course could not stay out of trouble...as he has a little Devil inside of him also....as a First Baptist Church bus rolled slowly by, Dad jokingly tried to hide Kaden's devil horns....the entire bus was cracking up with laughter.  Lisa asked, "What are they laughing at?"....it only took her a split seconde to realize that Dad was to blame!

 

Dad was happy to see both boys having a great time...and glad I didn't get into too much trouble! :)

Cameron has been doing great...on 08-20-2007, he started his night times without diapers, and we are happy to report...doing VERY well!

 

I'd like to get Cameron more involved with these updates here...possibly have him try to setup or initiate a photo that he would like to see on here, or would like to show his Grandma, or Uncles/Aunt/Cousins.

 

Maybe try at least once or twice a week.  Show him the process of how we can take a picture and upload it up for family/friends to see, and then family can comment back to him about his picutres/stories.

 

Still not sure if I will do that here, or just have a link to it...either way, this site will have some information regarding our final decision.

 

I'd also like to see if Cameron would be ready/willing/able to do some stop action photo animation with some of his toys.  I'd like to try and do a small version of that with his Buzz Lightyear to show him what it is all about and see if he is interested in it.

On 08-21-2007, Kaden Lee had his first taste of baby food carrots last night....outlook is good!  Lisa and I were not sure how well it would be accepted because he was already pretty tired and hungry...which makes him somewhat cranky at times .  Anyway, pictures will follow sometime later this afternoon or early evening. 

Kaden also had his second set of vaccination shots on Monday...I believe 2 in each leg...poor little guy was evidently not too happy about it either, but by the time Lisa had him back out in the waiting room, he was smiling and talking it up again.  Oh ya...and he weighed in at 14lbs 6oz.  At roughly 4 months and 3 weeks, he is almost double his birth weight .  The doctor also gave us the go ahead to start him on veggies and fruit....one specific kind every five days...and that he is doing GREAT!

Lisa and I took the boys to Beaver Creek Park this past Saturday.  We took some really nice pictures...a REALLY great picture of Cameron in the clearing of some trees :

 

 

My Aunt Diane turned 50 earlier this month....I'll refrain from any (MAJOR) bashing comments as I will be turning 40 next year....don't want to piss off the dragon!  We have picures of Aunt Sherry and baby Kaden...as well as pictures of Grandpa Chambers and Kaden...and Aunt Heather and Kaden.

 

Kaden had his first taste of cereal....seemed to like it.   Cereal went down pretty good....problem...it also came back up easily!  Sorry...no pictures of that though!  We may have not timed the feeding right and it probably did not mix well with what he already had.  Future feedings went much smoother.

 

More pictures of Cameron playing with little brother Kaden.  Also, a good picture of Cameron after a long hard day...he was totally twisted sideways in his bed and laying on his stuffed doll!  Too funny!

Baby Kaden had his first Dr. checkup since he left the hospital....and the Dr. was very pleased with everything he saw!

 

Kaden is now 8 lbs. 1 oz.  After his initial few days of night and days mixed up, he has slowly been coming around and improving with his night time sleeping.  Last night was a pretty good night (Thank goodness...for Kaden and for Mom)!  He woke up twice for feedings and went right back to sleep.  Hopefully this will continue so Mom can get some rest.  Mom and Kaden slept from about 6:30pm to 10:30pm last night....I didn't have the heart to wake them up!

Cameron is doing well also.  He asks multiple times during the day: "Can I hold my baby brother?"

He holds Kaden for a little while....says: "He is so cute", "Look at all that hair", and "I love you baby brother"....totally awesome and just a joy to watch. 

 

It should be a trip when both boys are old enough to actually communicate and interact with each other...Lisa and I are both looking forward to seeing how that turns out!

At 10:53pm, Kaden Lee Chambers entered into our lives at 7 pounds, 11 ounces. 

 

20 inches long, and a nice head of hair.  All 10 fingers...all 10 toes...nice set of lungs, and as beautiful as they come!

 

Thanks for all of your prayers and well wishes...to all family and friends.

 

Big brother and little brother will meet for the first time today....

Just patiently waiting for Kaden's arrival.  Any day now...and I'm sure the sooner, the better for my wife Lisa!

Cameron spent the night at Grandma's on Wednesday night.  Lisa and I went to our birthing class.  Learned the stages of labor and a new breathing technique.  Hopefully I won't screw up the breathing coaching....I can see it now....LISA!!!  Breath...slower, no faster...ah...short spurts...ah...just breath!

 

Anyway, Cam was great for Grandma.  I'm thinking we'll probably do a popcorn/movie on Saturday for him.  Thanks to Grandma for watching Cameron.

 

Cameron has also been on his "Blue's Clues" kick again....Yes....that is the "Handy, Dandy...............Notebook.....RIGHT!"

 

Try that, with the same three clues about 40-70 times in a row.....First clue...Fish....Second clue...Book...Third clue...Cresent!

WOW!  This game is so fun and addicting to play!  My character currently has 1 star in demolitions, driving, 2 stars in weapons, and 3 stars both in strength and agility!  I'm hoping to really kick into this weekend.  I'd like to finish most of the game, get my achievement points, and win some rewards for the Old Spice Rewards Challenge.  I need about 770 more achievement points to get there....hopefully before the other 70,000 people do!  I'm playing the game on tough right now, but I am looking forward to playing it on psychotic once I get my achievement points!

Wow...what an announcement!  Looks like I'll be in Level 2 for the first challenge with a gamerscore of 7490!

 

Just a quick comment or two on the announcement of the new Achievement amounts to increase....

 

looks like we will still have the standard 200 for arcade and 1000 for purchased games...BUT...

 

now an additional 250 will be allocated to extra content achievments for purchased games and an additional 50 for arcade titles.

 

I'm all for it!  Should keep the older titles fun and interesting.  Also should keep people like me from getting my 1000 points, then selling the game....unfortunately, now I may have to keep the game in case more points are allocated later!

 

Hopefully the companies will not "remove content" from the original game just to put it in as "extra content" later....as long as they stay away from those type of tactics, I think this move is wonderful!

 

And....if the community notices that type of activity....they should avoid the content!  Do NOT purchase it....speak their language and hit them where it counts....their bottom dollar!

Little guy had another episode of hiccups last night!  Also...turning and kicking pretty good....poor Lisa...she was taking it all for the team!

Cameron told Lisa the other night that Kaden was going to 'POP' mommy's belly and come out....when we told him that mommy's belly was not going to 'POP', he told us that Kaden would be coming out of mommy's eyes then!

My thief questline is now finished and I am on the road to closing the Main gate and becoming the Champion of Cyrodiil!!

 

Hopefully by this weekend, the achievements will be complete and you can find the game listed on eBay!  I would keep this great game, but there is no replay value associated with this game in my opinion.  If there was an only fight mode or coop questline...maybe I would feel differently about the game, but for me...eBay and hopefully put the money made down on Crackdown or Pro Evolution Soccer!

Views on the Crackdown demo....

 

Game overall - a very nice game in my book.  Only down sides I could see were the targeting system and potentially the vehicle driving.  Targeting system can be difficult to "lock" on your target if there are other "targets" (even vehicle or non-fighting) in the same area.  As for the driving...maybe I am being too picky because there is nothing else to complain about, but it just did not have that control that I was looking for when driving.

Kaden had (at least to our knowledge) his first hiccups on 1-23-2007.  They went on pretty strong for a good couple minutes.  Lisa and I were mesmerized!  Week 29 is almost in the bag!

We visited Lisa's mom on Tuesday morning.  Cameron was asking where something was....we could not completely understand him, but it was either something about a video game, or something about "shoot"...we assume the paint ball shooting with Mike.

 

Anyway, he was asking about Ryan and we told him Ryan was working far away...and that he would need a plane or boat to go see him.

 

On the way home, Cameron was asking about Mike, and again we told him he was working far away....Cameron asked..."need a plane?"...that's a yes Cam!

 

So if anyone has a plane, or rocket ship available (cheap)...Cameron is in the market for one!

 

Hope you both....(Ryan and Mike) are doing well.  I'll try to have some more pictures of Cam and Lisa up soon for you guys.

Just catching up on my Oblivion....created a thief and now running through the thief quests.  I'll get all of the thief achievements and then go back to one of my higher level characters to close the main gate and complete the main quest for the last two achievments.
